This privacy policy concerns the data handling on the FlorisBoard Addons Store. If you are interested in the keyboards's privacy policy, which affects data handling in the installed keyboard app, please visit this privacy policy instead.

Introduction

FlorisBoard Addons Store (the "Addons Store") is an official frontend for distributing both official and community-created extensions and sharing them with other users. This privacy policy exists to give you a better understanding what personal data must be accessed and/or stored to provide you with this service.

Data Collection and Usage

The Addons Store does not collect any personal data directly, however we use GitHub OAuth for sign in and authentication. When using GitHub OAuth, you agree to the terms of GitHub's privacy policy. Upon login with GitHub, the Addons Store retrieves and stores the following data:

  • Your GitHub username
  • Your unique GitHub user ID

When interacting with the site, the following non-sensitive information is also stored:

  • Projects you create
  • Releases you create
  • Reviews you create
  • Collections you create

Data Retention

Your account and all associated data is stored on the Addon Store's servers forever, unless you request to delete your account. To delete your account:

  1. Sign in with the account you want to delete
  2. Visit your profile
  3. Click on "Delete my account" and follow the on-screen steps

Where do we store your data?

We store your data at Hetzner's datacenters in Nuremberg, Germany.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer to support authentication. The Addons Store only places strictly necessary cookies on your computer, this list describes all cookies and their use:

  • addons_session - stores currently authenticated user id + session data
  • XSRF-TOKEN - holds csrf token which is a security feature to prevent csrf attacks
  • remember_web - allows you to stay signed in accross browser sessions

The Addons Store website may contain links to other websites. Our privacy policy applies only to our website, so if you click on a link to another website, you should read their privacy policy.

Updates to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to periodically review and update this policy. Changes to this policy will be announced publicly. Continued use of Addons Store will be deemed acceptance of such changes.
